10] A man rode into town on Friday, stayed for 3 days, and left on Friday. How come?

hide: Friday is the name of the horse

11] A woman has 2 sons who were born at the same hour of the same day of the same month in the same year. But they are not twins. How come?

hide:  They were triples

1. She's still alive
2. What dirt in a hole?
4. In the same way you lift one that has two hands.
6. Sibling
7. February
8. 0 as (x-x)=0
9. An egg
13. Normal, you're supposed to have all your fingers on two hands
14.  Please explain how on earth you can dig half a hole.
15. Errors, are and there are only two errors.  But I don't think this one is good because there are now three errors, which makes the sentence true.  (This sentence is false, anyone?)
16.  It would be considerably nicer to have it attack the lion.
17.  They are facing each other.
18. 3
19.  Go there and try it...
20.  Let me see, what was that number after eleven again?

Well done, misty.

I have alternatives to the standard answers to 18 and 19:

18] I marry the sister first, then marry the woman that will later be widowed.
Now, if God asks me "Did you marry your widow's sister?", what can I say?

19]  Two. For example, one daffodil and one crocus.
(Instead of one rose, one tulip, and one daisy.)

I beg to differ on the answer to number 12.  As a college student, I eat lunch for breakfast quite often.  I did today, as a matter of fact.  To explain:  Breakfast is whatever meal you have first in the day.  Lunch is whatever meal you eat at midday.  But if you sleep in, you may well not eat anything until noon, which is then both breakfast and lunch.  Or if that's not good enough, you can also eat dinner for breakfast:  Dinner is the largest meal of the day, regardless of when it occurs.  So if you have a really big breakfast, and a small lunch and supper, then you had dinner for brakfast.

Meanwhile, question 15 contains two and a half errors.

Oh really? The dictionary I have say that breakfast is the meal you have in the morning. But of course, you can argue that morning is the period of time you wake up, which in turns make a common afternoon your effective morning. And therefore a normal lunch will become your breakfast. But if that's true, then you're actually having breakfast, and the question & solution put up by Thud is valid. And by shuffling different names of different meals, the effective outcome - that you'll end up having breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper is equivalent to a normal person. When integrated, multiply by the speed of light and ...oh, my head is spinning.

Fine, then, wake up at 11:30, and eat a meal at 11:50.  That way, it's still a meal eaten in the morning.

15] There is three errers in this sentence.
I count 2 errors and 1 errer in that sentence. An errer is clearly the term for something which errs, in which case "this sentence" is one, so the correct statement would be:

There is one errer in that sentence.
