All words are listed at www.dictionary.com and they're all in common(ish) usage. 1) What word can be placed in front of each of the following to make six new words? arm cast play shadow tell warn 2) What word can be placed after each of the following to make six new words? sea slave star tape war who 3) What word can be placed before OR after each of the following to make six new words? fire half house stop sun weight

With numbers one and three I had no problems. The second one was a little too obscure for me I thought, so I looked at the first letter of T&B's answer, which led me to ring.
