List, as many as you can, 3-letter names (english only, please) for parts of an adult human body. (no hints for this one...just go with your gut!) EverGreenA3

You'll have to explain how some of those are body parts.. 'pus' is at most a bodily fluid

| Yes, and 'pec' and 'abs' are abbreviations. (sniff) And I thought 'bob' was what you called a guy with no arms or legs, in a swimming pool. Mind you, I'm not sure what to make of 'cum', given that in liberal Holland 'bum' is sexual slang!

hmm... in which case, I guess these would work... eyes rear mug foot/feet heel testes gob Oh, and surely "tit" should be "tits" before you can count it as acceptible

| k n e e, seems like 4 (f o u r) letters to me, not three.. I would assume that's why nobody said it..

I think evergreena3 is referring to the number of different letters, as opposed to the total number of letters used... Granted, I also assumed he meant 3 letters long initially as well, but decided to accept his interpretation after he posted his second point...

Bodily fluids aren't body parts? I'd say that the parts of something are those physical components of which it consists. A human body wouldn't be in very good shape without blood, lymph, bile, urine, stomach acid, CSF, and the like. Hey, there's another one -- CSF. As for "bob," I agree it's a stretch -- I was referring to the hairstyle. So, given the new interpretation of "3-letter names," what's the *longest* one you can think of? Anyway, I'll add to the list... : cell tatas piss (?) rear butt eyes jug iris cock boobs :

arm, ball, butt, cock, ear, eggs, eyes, fat, feet, fin, foot, fur, gene, gum, gut, heel, hip, hoof, iris, jaw, knee, leg, lid, lip, nut, orb, paw, pen, poll, rib, teeth, tits, toe, tooth, tuft, wig. I did a dictionnary search, and pulled out what I recognize as body parts. I'm not a native english speaker. Some are probably not acceptable.

True Country Girl - as stated earlier, "eye" is not acceptable. It only uses 2 letters. Grimbal - though some of yours are humerous, I must question the following ones: fin, hoof, paw, pen, poll, tuft, & wig. If you, or others, would like to defend these as acceptable "parts of an adult human body," please do so. EverGreenA3

Woops, I missed the "human" requirement. Then there are not many left that are new. For pen and tuft, I thought it would be acceptable slang. Like banana. For poll, my dictionnary says: top of head. Maybe only for animals. But I still like the wig as a human body part.

eye only uses the two letters 'e' and 'y'. One of them gets used twice, but that's another issue entirely. Most people would have gone with the other reading of "three-letter names" but since it's evergreena3's puzzle to begin with, we're letting him set the rules...

I agree with True Country Girl that a 3-letter word is a word with 3 letters, whether the same or not. Or you have to specify you want 3 different letters.
