If it is a simple linear relation, the ? must be -3102/209 = -14.84210526, but I suspect that is not the intended answer...

Hi Grimbal; Thanks for looking at it. That is what I did too. I think they want an integer. I think it is a typo even though it is obviously out of a book.

I found this on an old printout in my papers. I couldn't throw it away unless I solve it first. I came up with this: (10*5-8)/3 = 14 (7*8-8)/6 = 8 (4*7-13)/5 = 3 (8*12-15)/3 = 27 (11*6-12)/9 = 6 The answer is 12.
