Before posting a topic, please check if a thread already exists for it. I know it is annoying to have to search for your topic. However, it's even more annoying to have a bunch of disjoint threads hanging around on the same topic. If too many disjoint threads are developed, I'll delete some of them, and they might be yours.

Willwu is an awesome dude! Don't make him have to go through and delete stupid things!

Please look before you post; not just for him but for all the viewers so they don't have to see the same thing over and over when looking for a certain thread.

I see why it's important to check the other posts before posting, but this forum has 48 pages of topics! Is there an easier way than to go through the topics than spending half an hour pressing "next"? (This is also pretty annoying for those who are searching for answers to problems)

There's the 'search' option at the top of the page
and you could try google, with site:www.ocf.berkeley.edu along with search terms.

Google is probably the better option - the built-in search is a little temperamental - though Google will usually be missing the last few days'/weeks' posts...

For many old puzzels, the problem statement is not available - or is it that I am not able to find it - Can someone help me in this....Thanks

For old riddles, you can find the problem statement via http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wwu/riddles/intro.shtml where it all started.

Really before posting a topic searching the whole forum for a specific topic is tough stuff, but after all that it will be cool idea for preventing the duplication.
