How can you throw a ball 20 meters, and have it come back to you without hitting anything?

[hide]Twenty meters is a bit much for "up", I'd think. So, maybe it comes back by dog?[/hide]

A space suit, a small rock in free-fall, and a very gentle "throw".

rmsgrey has somewhat of an answer.

The correct one is: "Throw it straight up"

But as rmsgrey put it, "free-fall" :)

You use jet pack to rise very quickly 20 meters in the air. Most human males have at least one testicle (ball) so in a sense you throw your own ball which drops because of the speed. But the ball is attached to you and so it will return to its original position without hitting anything.
