I just found out about this ESP Game today: http://www.espgame.org As a byproduct of the two player games, the system extracts very accurate profile information for web images to improve image search. The game is quite addictive. I can easily see thousands of people playing it every day and in the process improving image search. I think games like this will be built in the future for all kinds of content generation -- not just image search.

interesting.. though it doesn't have anything to do with ESP.. You couldn't even measure ESP with it.. (since people may just naturally agree on what words go with a picture)

| Yes, the name of the game is misleading -- it has nothing to do with ESP. However, I think the idea is very clever. It is a great way to make collaborative content generation fun. You can find an article on the CMU student who invented the game here: http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/03278/228349.stm
