Simple proof of Fermat's Last Theorem

A while back, I wasn't searching for FLT, but ran across this by chance:

"Fermat's Last Theorem proved by a simple method", X.S. Zhang, Engineering Fracture Mechanics, vol. 39, no. 2, pp. 235-240, 1991.

That is a decent engineering journal, but a pure math article is out of place there. Are there many published articles like this? I know that false FLT proofs were frequently sumitted to journals but didn't know many got published.

In many instances the peer review process isn't as good as it should be.  Nor is the editing process.  I just found a published article on FLT that credits British mathematicians "Andrew Miles and Richard Taylor" with its proof.
