I can show that wolves eat birds, which eat grain
As someone's set a precedent, I'll number the statements for ease of the explanantion:

1.Wolves, foxes, birds, caterpillars, and snails are animals,
and there are some of each of them.
2.  there are some grains, and grains are plants.
3.  Every animal either likes to eat all plants
or all animals much smaller than itself that like to eat some plants.
4.  Caterpillars and snails are much smaller than birds,
which are much smaller than foxes,
which in turn are much smaller than wolves.
5.  Wolves do not like to eat foxes or grains,
6. birds like to eat caterpillars, but not snails.
7. Caterpillars and snails like to eat some plants.

Here's the reasoning:
According to 3 and 7, all animals must either like to eat both snails and caterpillars (and possibly other smaller animals), or all plants.  Since birds don't like to eat snails(6), they must eat all plants, which includes grains (2).  Since wolves don't like to eat grain (5), they must like all smaller animals that like to eat some plants (3), which includes birds, snails and caterpillars.
