Sheila & He-man- Twin Riddle

They both were born on a leap year (Feb 29th). He-Man was in New Zealand, and Sheila was in Moscow. So He-Man got to celebrate his birthday technically 2 days before Sheila on his respective birthday...... Chalk that one up, thats 2 in two hours.

No genius..... this was any other birthday except the date of their birth. For example, the following birthday they could of been apart in different locations. I swear its possible, i can guarantee there is no international law that states twins must be in the same city for the rest of there lives.

The way you wrote that sounds like you were suggesting that they were born in New Zealand and Moscow.
Anyway, your answer doesn't work. At most there is only one day difference between New Zealand and Moscow. Since she was born before him, that is not enough to explain his celebrating 2 days earlier.
By the way, there are already threads for all of these riddles. If you are using the search function to find them, though, you will need to change the upper limit on age to 9999 days, otherwise it won't catch the older threads.

i said they were born on Feb 29th already! So He-Man in New Zealand would get to March(1st) before Sheila in Moscow (Feb 28th) by two whole days

Leap year or no leap year, Moscow is never more than 1 day behind New Zealand.
Assuming that Midnight on the morning of March 1 has passed New Zealand, but not made it to Moscow yet, the dates are:
Regular year: NZ = March 1; Moscow = Feb 28
Leap year: NZ = March 1; Moscow = Feb 29.
In either case, his date is at most only 1 ahead of hers. Their being born on Feb 29 would not change that.

Ok im not sure of anything anymore. But im pretty sure it's still right, it would be Feb 27, where sheila is at and March 1 where He-Man is. So i guess this works with any date on the calendar. It's not Moscow, you're right, but its Hawaii right?

No. The date at any two places in the world never differs by more than 1 day. Even though Hawaii is much farther behind New Zealand than Moscow, it is still less than a day.
You are not completely off-track, but you haven't looked at the right end of things yet. Sheila and He-Man don't need to be in different locations for this to work.

I think you can get up to 28 hours difference or so. Some small pacific kingdoms have gone to a lot of trouble to be the first in the new year, crossing the dateline (as you'd expect it) by quite a bit.

People born on Leap Day (I've known a couple of them) still celebrate a birthday every year. During non-leap years, they usually celebrate it on March 1, though some prefer Feb 28.
In any case, Sheila celebrates her birthday on the day she was born. And He-Man does the same with his birthday.

Wow u guys are right! I had it backwards. Sheila is born March 1st on the left side of the international date line, moments later while He-Man was comming out they crossed the line and he was born Feb 28th. So on leap years He-Man celebrates his birthday on feb 28th,(two days before Sheila does on March 1st)
