Title: Filling a 6x6 grid Post by pcbouhid on Jan 16th, 2006, 9:21am You are given 36 circular pieces, 18 red and 18 green. It is possible to place all of them in the 6x6 grid shown, so that no 4 pieces of the same color forms a square? If it is, show how. If it is not, prove it. |
