Title: Complex Variable Mapping
Post by Sameer on Dec 6th, 2006, 10:28pm
I came across this and haven't worked out the solution, but found it interesting.

For two complex planes w,z; show that the function w = A(z + a2/z) may be used to represent the flow of a perfect incompressible fluid pas a circular cylinder. Also find the stagnation points. 'A' and 'a' are constants.

The complex plane, take w = u + iv and z = x+iy and go from there.
