[Weak joke deleted], it is true that original posters in Complex Analysis are usually wanting homework help.

Never mind, Azgard, it's just my twisted sense of humour. Wink Just consider it as a rare Thud riddle, haha.

I've been half thinking about what you said (while watching Stargate), and while I am still confused about the first part, I understand the second part and kind of figured something like that was going on for many of the posts. It's relatively unavoidable for a place like this.

Yes, going back in time to change history sometimes makes more sense than I do, especially now that Bush has gone. But be prepared to fight your way past all the desperately affluent cronies who are guarding Bushgate.

Oh, didn't that make for some interesting discussions when those episodes came out? Not here (I don't think there were any here, anyway), but around my place we had some real fun!

Actually, I just finished watching Camelot, the last episode of Season 8. The one where we get our butts kicked, while Carter watches trapped in her space suit floating somewhere beside the supergate.

How did you know I would enjoy that?  Smiley

I actually need to make a correction, Camelot was not an episode in season 8, but in season 9. I've finished watching season 9 and am working my way through season 10 now... Episode 200 was entertaining Grin

But anyway, is it just for me the divider lines are missing, or are they missing for others, too?

Oops, I should have posted that link in your Densa Test Part 1 thread.

Not for me. What Am I? are trifling riddles, whereas Hard are proper puzzles.  Tongue

Yes, we did - before it had been conceived.  Wink

I don't see any missing lines.
Err, I mean, I don't see any lines missing. Which is to say, I see the same divider lines as between all the other forums.

Really? There are certain forums which are separated by different divider lines when I view the forum index.

Interesante (not a typo, Spanish). I am definitely seeing (not seeing) missing lines.

How did you post an image of your screen shot?

When you post, there is a field under the text-area for adding an attachment. It says "attach" next to it Wink
So make a screenshot (e.g. use alt-print screen, then paste to irfanview, if you have it), make some adjustments to keep the size within reasonable bounds (I halved the dimensions, cut out the relevant area and converted it to png), and then attach it to a post.

Would paint or Open Office do the trick? I've never heard of irfanview.    Huh

If paint can save images as something other than bmp, that should do fine. I'm not familiar with the drawing application in open office.
Just give it a try.

I tried paint. The only trouble is that it doesn't do proper resizing, but rather just resampling, which means that some lines disappear.

Which made me think of the following thing. Have you (possibly accidentally) resized your pages using your browser? For example, using control + mouse-scroll in firefox. That makes lines disappear in my browser.
I don't use a scroll-button here, but I used to have the problem of accidentally scrolling-resizing elsewhere until I set the maximum and minimum zoom to 100% there.

Here's something funny (sort of):

I was about to tell you that, no, I had not resized my browser. Then I looked at things and they did seem a little small. Resizing happens all the time for me, I have  an acer aspire one, and all you have to do to resize is to try moving the mouse while something else (like part of your other hand) is in contact with the mouse pad. It happens all the time, I guess I just didn't really notice the last time.

Problem solved, you're a genius!   Grin
