FAQ: why register as a member?

By registering, the forum software can track your posts. This allows posts to be tallied, which can then increase your "rank" (the label underneath your name, along with the number of stars shown).

Your profile and avatar can be customized.

You will have access to the "members" link in the top menu, where you can read about other members, view the top 30 posters, and sift through all the posts particular people have written.

All of these privileges aren't that important though. The best reasons to register are to acquire the following useful abilities:

1) ability to correct mistakes in your posts after posting them, or when the forum software doesn't produce expected output

2) ability to have automatic e-mailed notification of replies to threads of your choice

go to your profile and choose one of the default or if you have a server then upload the pic to its public_html and then link it to the forum.

A friend of mine asked me to post the following question: Is the registration disabled? It always gives the following message:

The code you input does not match the text on the image. You will automatically be returned to the registration page in a moment.
