Hence, when Jennifer falls asleep, her imaginary friend Jeb "dies" since he ceases to exist. However, if Jennifer is appropriately minded when she wakes up, she will bring Jeb back to life again, as if he had always been alive   Or, possibly a better answer, so I might as well hide this one, Jennifer has gone for an operation to remove her unborn child, Jeb, from her. There's actually a lot of incarnations of that, before I remembered the first I thought Jeb was a malnutritioned goldfish, and Jennifer just had to fall asleep, in which time Jeb died of starvation...
