You enter a room. On the ground are two dead bodies, broken glass, and a large amount of a clear liquid. There is no sign of a struggle, but the window is open. However, it has not been forced. What happened? My apologies if this has been posted before, I used the search feature but failed to find anything. Also note, I do not know the answer to this, I wish I did but my mind just can't work it out. Any ideas?

Ah! I assumed they were human. Fish. They're fish. The glass is the fish bowl. The liquid is the water from the tank. Im not sure about the window. If it was open, its possible it was a cat or something.

Also, this puzzle usually comes with mention of another object:A baseball. Combine this with towr's hint, and the answer should be clear.
