horse travels

A horse travels the same distance every day.

Oddly, two of its legs travel 30 miles each day and the other two legs travel nearly 31 miles.

It would seem that two of the horse's legs must be one mile ahead of the other two legs, but of course this can't be true.

Since the horse is normal, how is this situation possible?

A fairly common condition for horses, I think.

And other animals. (And probably for some cars as well).

The horse must get really bored running around in circles.

24 beers in a case. 24 hours in the day....coincidence?? I think not.

is the horse a carriage horse and has extra weight from the peopl sitting on the carraige in the back giving two of his legs more work to do? so it's kind of like, from here to there it's 30 miles equally, but the two legs carrying more wieght is working hard enough to be equavilant to 31 miles.....? am i right?

I just realized:
30 is nearly 31.
