Enterprise comes across a wormhole. When the omnipotent entity Q appears on the bridge, Picard has a pretty good idea who’s behind it. Q says to him – Long time no see, mon capitaine. Dozen Borg cubes are preparing to emerge through the wormhole in an hour. As you already know, I am all-knowing. I’ll make the wormhole disappear removing the Borg threat only if you tell me something I don’t know. The only hint I’ll give you is that the problem is solvable. Btw, it is not allowed for you to hear ideas from others. If someone breaks this rule, destiny of the Federation will be sealed. – What could the captain think of, so that Q makes the wormhole vanish?

Just tell nothing. There is nothing Q doesn't know. He he is all-knowing. or You could say "You and the wormhole will disappear right know". If he knows that, then it means they will disappear. If not, Q will make the wormhole disappear. And let the worm figure out how to do his business next.

Is nothing included in everything? If not, then say "You don't know nothing" (different than "you don't know anything")

No winner yet. The key to the puzzle is quite simple.

The Federation will endure After all, if Q knew the outcome of this exchange, he wouldn't be asking to learn something new...

For such a macho threat, one trick always works. Picard can tell him that his is bigger than Q's. Q will rather leave the Federation alone than admitting publicly that he knows that. Makes me wonder: "all-knowing", does it means he knows only the things that are true, or does it mean he "knows" everything, even the things that aren't actually true?
