A man is shot once in the head while lying naked on his bed. Tomorrow the detective Columbo arrives at the crime scene. He looks at the two empty glasses on the table in the living room. The glasses smell on yesterday's whisky. He then proceeds to the bedroom. There is an ashtray on the nightstand, with a cigarette filter and ash. Columbo examines the body and everything in the bedroom for a few minutes, finding no additional objects. The detective infers or guesses correctly that the victim:
1. was married and his vision wasn't 20/20.
2. was a cat person.
3. played darts.
4. was visited by a man.
5. was visited by a female prostitute.

May be the lipstick on the cigarette filter along with the fact that the dead man was naked made Columbo guess that he was visited by a prostitute.

For marriage, There was a ring mark on his finger but no ring. This could also suggest that the man was recently divorced, but since Columbo did not find any clothes or wallet in the bedroom, he guessed that the man was married and that the wedding ring was stolen by the killer along with other stuffs.

The body of the dead man was covered with scratch marks. And since cat is the only animal that scratches, Columbo knew that he was a cat person.
