Eddie and Charlie are relaxing in a bar. Eddie says: ‘Remember when you gave me an apple six years ago?’ Charlie answers: ‘Yes, I actually remember it because that was my cheap gift to you on your birthday. That was also the only time I gave you an apple.’ Eddie continues: ‘If I prove to you that you gave me more than one apple you will give me $500. If I can’t prove it I will give you $500. Do you agree to this?’ Charlie agrees and soon loses the bet. How?
