A man went to a party and drank some of the punch, he then left early.Everyone else at the party who drank the same punch were poisoned and became very sick. Why did the man not get sick?

(Note: The man didn't poison the punch)

There wasn't any alcohol in the punch, and it was warm, so time progressing the bacteria multiplied fruitfully in the punch. When the man left they weren't at food-poisoning level, later on they were :p

Or the poison was in the ice cubes.. (the answer to similar riddles that this forum has been riddled with before..)

Of course he might just have been immune; it could be a freaky coincidence everyone else who drank got sick, without the punch being the cause; he may have poisoned the glasses instead; he may not have used a glass, all of which where poisoned by someone else; etc

You see, riddles rely on very accurate words. Leaving out just one word can result in many more answers, like this, for example.

Maybe the man spiked the punch with a little 151, so the poison in his drink was nuetralized by the alchahol, thus leaving everyone else at the party with alchahol poisoning instead. I have a toast. ;)

The poison is in the ice.
