Title: Ginger Cat
Post by Kitty on Apr 25th, 2003, 9:12am
I ve known this one since i was 7 and i really like it. Quite alot people know it find it stupid but i think i ll post it any way.

Roger is found lying dead in a room.
He has pieces of glass and water around him.
In the same room there is a table and wardrobe and on top of the wardrobe is a ginger cat.

Well the question is,obviously,'What happened?'  ???

I warned Roger about that cat, but he wouldn't listen to me!:'( He said she wasn't upset about that trip to the clinic, but he was wrong - she was only biding her time until winter came! This is how she accomplished her diabolical deed:
First she dragged her water dish over by the door, and spilt it accross the floor. Next she stuck her head through the pet door, and held it open until the frigid air coming in had frozen the water into a sheet of ice. A quick hop up onto the shelf by the door, and she knocked off a bottle to smash on the ice. When Roger innocently came in shortly after, he slipped on the unexpected ice and landed on the jagged glass, leading to his demise. Meanwhile, the evil feline watched from her perch atop the wardrobe, knowing that revenge is a dish best served cold! ;)

PS. Yes I do know the correct answer, Kitty. It's not stupid. People just get upset when they are caught making unwarranted assumptions. But a puzzle that points out such assumptions is always good in my opinion, as it helps teach not to do it in the future.

I like your answer though Icarus. Its really cool. 8)

Lots of what happened puzzle are about the victime not beening human (normally a fish). There is the other one of romeo and juilette but it does not work after doing this one.
