Title: Locked up Post by maryl on Jun 2nd, 2003, 3:12pm Two convicts are locked in a cell. There is an unbarred window high up in the cell. No matter if they stand on the bed or one on top of the other they can't reach the window to escape. They then decide to tunnel out. However, they give up with the tunneling because it will take too long. Finally one of the convicts figures out how to escape from the cell. What is his plan? |

Title: Re: Locked up Post by Icarus on Jun 2nd, 2003, 6:04pm I think there is a puzzle in the easy section in which the solution is that the prisoner(s) seal around the door and the drains, and flood the cell. As long as they can tread water long enough, they will float up the the window. That puzzle gives you details about the cell (such as a solid door - the traditional bars would be very hard to seal!). |
