Title: No Reward Post by maryl on Oct 18th, 2003, 3:19pm Bruno was with no doubt the fastest in the race, running by the other contenders and crossing the finish line well before the others. He had won the race, but someone else was given the winners trophy. Why? |

Title: Re: No Reward Post by BNC on Oct 18th, 2003, 3:37pm 1. [hide]His blood test showd he used illegal rugs[/hide]. 2. [hide]The race winner was whoever got 2nd[/hide]. 3. [hide]He was that guy (I don't know how they're called) that runs at the beginning if a race to help keep a fast pace. He was supposed to quit the race after a short time, but felt good, kept running, and actually won. Unfortunatly, he was not registered as a contestant, so could not be the winner trophy's recepient[/hide]. 4. [hide]Bruno is a dog[/hide]. |

Title: Re: No Reward Post by Icarus on Oct 18th, 2003, 6:33pm BNC - "That guy" is a "pacesetter". My answer was a variation of your 4th: [hide]Bruno is a horse. His owner is given the trophy.[/hide] |

Title: Re: No Reward Post by Speaker on Oct 19th, 2003, 6:15pm Okay, maryl, I had a variation on the doggy and horsey answers. Bruno is a rabbit, the race is for dogs and Bruno crosses the finish line first. ;D |
