Bruno was with no doubt the fastest in the race, running by the other contenders and crossing the finish line well before the others. He had won the race, but someone else was given the winners trophy. Why?

3. [hide]He was that guy (I don't know how they're called) that runs at the beginning if a race to help keep a fast pace. He was supposed to quit the race after a short time, but felt good, kept running, and actually won. Unfortunatly, he was not registered as a contestant, so could not be the winner trophy's recepient[/hide].
4. [hide]Bruno is a dog[/hide].

Okay, maryl, I had a variation on the doggy and horsey answers. Bruno is a rabbit, the race is for dogs and Bruno crosses the finish line first.
