it wuz said that there were no equipment or boxes found on board or scattered around da vehicle or anywhere for that matter. plus there were actually only a single set of foot prints found in da sand at da bottom of da 2 cliffs walking t and from da front and end of his truck.

Okay, so the riddle is...

A man was found hanging from a noose tied to a pole slung between the narrowest points of 2 cliffs in a desert.
30 feet below him was the truck that he was driving in. There was only a single set of foot prints found in the sand at the bottom of the cliffs walking to and from the front and end of his truck.

How did he do it if there was no way he could have climbed the cliffs and there was no equipment or boxes found on board or scattered around the vehicle or anywhere?

I'm guessing that we are supposed to assume that he killed himself (no other people in planes or copters).

Two quick, unlikely answers:
1) He found a pole and noose sitting there, stopped his truck, climbed on top of it, and jumped REALLY high, just happened to get his head in the noose, and gravity took over.

2) He had a big pole and good aim. He threw the pole with the rope attached to it up between the cliffs. The rope ended just at the ground. This guy shimmied up the rope, tied a noose while in the air, wrapped the extra rope around the pole again, put his head in the noose, and let go.

One other answer:
There were no boxes found because they disintigrated in the rain and weather which just happened to only hit those certain places.

Any answer of mine requires lots of skill, lots of luck, or lots of randomn magical thingies.

Maybe the boxes were made of sugar and his shoes regularly ejected rubber cement, so his footsteps would stay even after the rain.

Maybe it was a ladder truck... That would allow him 30 feet, though the pole would be a trick.

Still, same thing goes for climbing big blocks of slippery ice with a pole of any length.
