A man was found dead with a head injury near the rail, lying on his stomach. The detective White takes a look at the victim and infers that he was killed on the train. How did the detective come to this conclusion?

There was a train ticket (for a train that passes through that track) in his hand. Or his head had been banged against a nail in the train and the nail mark could be distinctly identified.

Nope. Someone pushed him off the train, but how did the detective know that he was killed on the train and not when he hit the ground?

Btw, there's no need to invent new things here, like ticket in his hand, as the riddle is rather straightforward.

He was hit with a blunt object, so no. The head injury was such that at first glance it looks like he might have gotten it from falling off the train. Of course, this applies to rookies, not to the keen eye of the detective.

See, Detective White felt this feeling inside him that said: Yes. He was killed on the train. Call it woman's intuition, even though I think he is a man

Or maybe he was wearing a conductor uniform

Close enough. The blood ran into his ear instead of downwards. Gravity, baby.
