An intelligent man, who was always and still is in topnotch health, has been to Sydney, Venice, Hong Kong, Istanbul, New York, Paris, London and Amsterdam. Yet he does not remember any of these places. Why not?

I had a similar experience, so I think that:

[hide]He went to those places when he was still very young, and so has no memory of them.[/hide]

Although I can't make this fit with the sightseeing clue.
