There is an aquarium on a table with a goldfish swimming in it. Neither other organisms nor other objects have a role in the riddle. David has 20/20 vision yet he sees two fishes. How is it possible?

- against the light the fish is transparent and David, the human, sees a pregnant mother or a formerly hungry fish;

David is a man and there is no other goldfish other than the one. I'm sure things are a lot clearer to you now.

The title is unimportant in order to solve the riddle. It's just that a goldfish associates me on the Goldfish.
