Title: Astrologist
Post by alien2 on Sep 25th, 2016, 10:32am
Tim calls an astrologist. He tells her his date of birth and that he is unhappy. She immediately knows without a shadow of a doubt which birthday of his wasn’t celebrated. But how?

Hey that's a nice idea. I myself was thinking of the past.

1) [hide]February 29 - one can argue whether a birthday is "celebrated" if it happens on another day.[/hide]
2) [hide]September 11, 2001 (or a similar major traumatic event) - people may not have been in the mood to celebrate a birthday.[/hide]

An interesting twist. A bit far-fetched though.

You're right. Imperfections can make life interesting but the intended answer ain't interesting at all. I'm getting sloppy lately. Shocked William might ban my account for good. A birthday is a celebration and anniversary, in that, it is not the same as date of birth. I myself thought it was. Why? Maybe because of poetic license and synonyms. I told you I can be silly or smart. So if anyone can be both dumb and smart, with my IQ fluctuating all the time, that would be me. I am who I am. It is impossible to be more or less like myself. Still, I'll try to be more focused and correct. Please accept my apologies. Though there's no need to delete this riddle because towr saved the day! Just ignore the intended answer.
