2. Prove that Jesus was not crucified on the cross.

Come on riddlers. There is a perfectly logical explanation to both riddles. There is nothing to it.

You can't build a church, since it's not a church until you have already built it.
Similarly, Jesus wasn't crucified on *the* cross, merely *a* cross.  It didn't become *the* cross until after he was cruicified.

You are tasting the answers. Keep thinking like that.

I'm not sure I understand fully. My bad.

I'm not sure I understand either!  But anyway, more answer attempts below:
------------------------------

A church can't be build, but it can be Bill (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Church)ed.

Similary, Jesus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Aguilera) can't have been crucified - he's still alive today!

That is correct.

One down, one to go.

Because the exact wording seems quite important for this riddle - can we get a clarification on the first one?

Would:

1. Prove that a church cannot be built.

Be a correct interpretation of the puzzle?

You would have me to solve my own puzzle!? How dare you! When I was writing the riddle, there was a man in my house. I fought with this man. He had a mechanical arm. You find this man. You find this man.

Have you been to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela? I can't tell whether the church is more beautiful from the inside or from the outside.

1. Is it because a church is not a church before it is consecrated, and that happens only after it is built?
2. This has to do with faith not truth.  A proof is irrelevant.

You're almost there. Mmm... a little bit to the right please. Just disregard consecration and - voilą!

That is correct. You can't build a church that is built already.
