Title: Brush your teeth!

Human adults usually have 32 teeth. Yet it is also true, that these human adults, who never lost any teeth, do not have 32 teeth. But how?

Those who keep their teeth in a box for want of a settlement on the issue of what constitutes a fair price for the Tooth Fairy to pay for acquiring said teeth.

Or archaeologists.

Excuse me. What exactly do you mean by [hide]a different base?[/hide]? What is this? A counter-riddle? Please rephrase because I am a halfwit. And brush your teeth!

Those humans have 32 teeth [hide]in decimal (base 10)[/hide] but only 20 [hide]in hexadecimal (base 16)[/hide].

[hide]Counting teeth in base 16 makes sense as well, since there are 16 on each of one's lower and upper jaw.[/hide]

[hide]If they never lost any teeth, they must still have their baby teeth. If they're adults, they probably don't have them in their mouth. So do they have a full mouth of adult teeth, and a box with their baby teeth?[/hide]
