You work for a kingping who lost his trust in you which, I am certain you’d agree, is quite a bad thing. As a punishment, you are instructed to go to a pampa with a shovel and dig your own grave, a deep one too; and then, somehow, by using shovel only, and w/o any assistance, shovel the ground back in your own grave where, somehow, you are lying still. Obviously, you are quite scared, but the kingpin developed a soft spot for you, to a certain extent, and so graciously he tells you that you are allowed to take one small object of your choice, rather than just the shovel, on this quest to regain his trust and totally redeem yourself.

How to accomplish this seemingly impossible task likewise punishment or mayhap even get out of this w/o deepening your kingpin’s mistrust in you and breaking his heart entirely?!

Are there devices as such that small nowadays? I myself was thinking of something even smaller and not that sophisticated. You get the idea. I sure hope the kingpin will like it.
