I think that mermaids were just manatees that sailors saw, thinking that they were sort of human. Although it might not have been manatees that they mistook, I'm not sure...

Well, it doesn't seem to have breasts, so while it may be stated that it's a mermaid, it seems to be missing a few bits.

Hmm, that's weird, never seen that pic before, although there had been several mermaid 'sightings' here. ( No, not the Ariel kind, more like a cross between a banshee and a dugong )

they had made a documentry about mermaid and I was watching it with intense excitement (as I was hoping to see a true story) but in the end it turn out to be just another hoax. Mermaid doesnt Exist!
