i'm very psyched i found this forum.  it's almost as good as my favorite MTV's "The Jersey Shore" forum
 
anyway... in between posts about J-Wow, i stumbled upon this http://www.princeton.edu/~pear/  there's some serious cerebral horsepower in this forum.  would love to hear your take on this.

The skepdic entry notes a few problems with the PEAR experiments. I haven't really examined what they've done thoroughly, but extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and that they haven't provided it is clear enough. On the other hand that would not really be possible for any single group to do, because you need a lot of replication by other groups to average out hidden biases in the experiments, experimenters and equipment.
