Title: Democracy

Do you believe in Democracy?

I started to doubt it. Probably you know that German media tried to hide the crimes refugees made in the beginning of January.

It has been said that democracy is a terrible way to run a country, but that every other way is worse.

Personally, I'm not convinced that it actually is the least-worst (at least not for all situations) but I'm pretty sure it's not the worst.

Sometimes I don't believe in people and thus by extension not in democracy.
People vote for some really, really stupid politicians. And some have patently absurd beliefs and (lack of) values.

I'm not saying the world would be better if I ran it as a dictatorship, but it would be better for me ;)

I'm not convinced - the trouble with being world dictator is people expect you to make decisions for them...

I'd think the constant paranoia about people trying to replace you would be a bigger problem.

It occurred to me earlier today that democracy is like having the inmates run the asylum.

I agree that democracy is the best. But the question if we have it.

I believed in German media. But.... they waited for more than a week to write about terrible things with refugees.
