If you add up the positional value of the letters in Cleveland up to the letter V (3+12+5+22) you get 42.   Cleveland's latitude is about 41.5 degrees North, rounded up to 42.   42=6x7. 6+7=13, and there are 13 letters in Cleveland, Ohio. It's on Lake Erie. The letters in Erie add up to 37; the letters in Ohio add up to 47; which average to 42. It's in cuyahoga county: 14 letters times 3 (for the doubled letter C)=42.
