Title: Champagne and Formula 1 racing
Post by EZ_Lonny on Dec 14th, 2004, 12:56am
I am a member of The Dutch Champagne Society.

Last thursday we raised the topic of Formula 1 and champaign. Does anybody know what champaign is used for the winner of a race?

We allready found out where the tradition of using sparkling beverages for winners of sportevents, but we failed to find out what champaignhouse delivers the Magnums in F1.

Apparently a much coveted market.
according to  Mumm (http://www.mumm.com/eng/celebra/ce_communik5.htm), they have it for the second year in a row.
Think that it's stil lthem. At least, in all the photos googling provided the bottles were like that.
