Round as an apple, deep as a cup, yet an entire ocean can't fill it up.
 
Damn, for the life of me i cannot get this one. my first thought was a net, but alas it is not it.

Actually this is rather good.  It is quick, easy to remember, and requires lateral thinking.  The answer 'clicks', or at least did for me, when you get it:  good riddle.
