Dance digit, dance (3) Opening push fair game (4) Arch canon sinner (3) Drone catch EYCL1 (3) (tick tock tick tock...) Some of these are pretty easy- don't have much time to play at the moment.

I thought each clue was supposed to change one letter from the "answer" word. But then how can each clue hint at a word of a different length?

sorry about the whole not pointing out what was going on thing there. so far phlagellum, you've got some good guesses in your list. You should be able to get "arch canon sinner" from what you've worked out already.

Dance digit, dance (3) Tap, toe, something seems correct. Maybe tip to form top? Tap, two, something could also work. Arch canon sinner (3) Bow, law, Lot gives low.

Yeah I thought about bow, law, Lot... but why would Lot be "sinner"? I mean, he was really the "righteous" one, not so much the sinner, in so much as God spared him above all the others. Although technically, he's still not without sin...

Also, I don't think (tap, toe) or (tap, two) can work. The first and second words will never have the same first letter.

Because in the first "clue" word, you change the first letter of the "answer" word, and in the second "clue" word, you change the second letter of the "answer" word.

Though that was the original plan, it changed a while back, because the clues flowed awkwardly. I still try to keep them in sequence, but off hte top of my head, I can't promise that's what's happened here- sorry. Bow Law Lot - tick. Check the last paragraph of "Genesis" in this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lot_(Bible) I knew there was somethign unusual about him, othr than being married to a salt cellar.... the "Toe Tap ? ? ?" is going well.

Your recent riddle got me thinking about this one. I don't think it was ever finished. Drone catch EYCL1 gives bug bag I know EYCL1 but can't figure out where it fits.

Wow, long forgotten riddle! I can't remember the answer (perhaps I should send them to myself more). I'll race you! If your answer to catch is right (which I suspect it is) then your answer to drone can't be. Similarly, if drone is right, then catch can't be- each littel answer can only have one letter in common.
