A domestic cat, a natural born hunter, that is in the mood for hunting mice, sees a mouse that is undamaged. But, the cat does not hunt the mouse. Why not?!

THIS is the expected answer!
However, there is another answer which, in my opinion, is even better. Alright! So, just keep trying to solve the riddle that is already solved. I am not kidding. We are in business of solving riddles. That is a responsibility we must take very very seriously.
A hint: There isn't any. Actually, the mouse is quite real, not optical/laser/whatnot. See?! See?!

If there is nothing between the cat and the mouse, then the mouse is under the cat's paw or in its mouth. There is no hunting in that situation.

Once he caught a pigeon. But, he wasn't hungry so, he don't kill it and eat it. He ate a lizard though. The poor little green one was alive while he was eating it.
