My answer: psy·che

If you eat the mind (in a figurative sense), you may be satisfied, but the body goes hungry. I know, I've tried this on some very long project-nights.

Why don't YOU try reading the previous posts? Only one post in this entire thread has someone saying they don't know the answer. And that post is over 2 years old now, and was answered on the same day. Every other post here either gives the answer, or explores alternatives.

So all your little insult fest has accomplished is to show yourself to be a fool, incapable of understanding what is right before you.

I've always hated this riddle. It has quite a way of combining literal and figurative meanings.  

 I ate 'nothing' for lunch today and am still standing.  In fact I'm eating nothing right now and ... hold on ... nope, still not dead yet.

Even though it didn't kill me, I doubt that most rich men would have wanted my lunch.  

 What's even more impressive, I'm learning now, is that, if inclined to, my lunch could have created the Earth in a mere six days while simultaneously dooming us all to Hell.

Tomorrow I'll have tuna salad instead.
