Title: Re: New Year puzzle Post by Grimbal on Jan 1st, 2008, 2:44pm You are on the right track. By the way, my solution doesn't use good English. I just wanted it to sound like the other riddle. |

Title: Re: New Year puzzle Post by user on Jan 4th, 2008, 9:26pm Ok, if you can say that a second makes it 2008 from 2007, that also means that a day can make it 2008, then a month, etc. [hide]I am thinking of one unit, i.e. a year. But anything can be added to anything to make eight from seven, so I think it would be one portion or unit of something that is equivalent to the rest of the units that make up the previous seven.[/hide] |

Title: Re: New Year puzzle Post by Grimbal on Jan 9th, 2008, 1:46am OK, due to lack of interest, here is the solution. 1. of [hide]January[/hide] makes [hide]2008[/hide] from [hide]2007[/hide]. |
