I giggle.
The Merry-Go-Round stops.
My mother picks me up.

Perhaps taking icecoldcelt's suggestion a step further [hide]a Juke Box[/hide]?

I did think my first answer was stretching a little bit to fit the familial relations, as different parts of system were being forced to play the same role, but the hopscotch and Merry-Go-Round seemed to fit very well :-/
