About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in the joint UC Berkeley/UCSF graduate program in bioengineering. I am a member of the Herr Lab where my research focuses on developing microfluidic tools to study how the heterogeneities in cell populations give rise to bulk behavior (e.g. metastasis). Previously, I worked in the Cal Poly Cartilage Biomechanics Group and in the Cartilage Tissue Engineering Laboratory. A more detailed description of my academic work can be found in my resume.

Outside of the lab, I am an avid climber and backpacker. Most of my free time is spent exploring new places and working on my projects.
