The Bone Marrow/Blood Stem Cell Donor Registry Project aims to inform students on campus about the need for bone marrow donors, and to provide education on the donation process to help potential donors decide if donating is right for them.
If you are interested in working with Asian American Donor Program to register more people to be a part of the Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Registry, be sure to come to our training! (Find more information on our Facebook event page!) A representative from AADP will be presenting information about the registration process, donation process, and the need for more people, particularly people from AAPI communities, to be a part of the registry. You will also be trained in helping people to fill out the forms to register, and delivering accurate information about the registration and donation process.
After you complete the training, you will be able to volunteer with AAPIHRG-S and AADP at Donor Drives around campus. We will be finalizing these dates soon so that you can sign up for a shift later on.
We hope to see you there!
Please also be sure to fill out this form: https://docs.google.com/
The form is purely an informational form for us to get to know you a bit better before you come to our training and volunteer with us! We look forward to your responses.
