AAPIHRG-D is proud to present the second session from the UC Berkeley Speaker Series, Break the Silence, which will be held tomorrow on January 27th, 2016 at 234 Dwinelle Hall 4-6pm. The topic will be on Occupational Health Issues, specifically on worker’s rights in the nail salon industry and will feature the Director of Community Health and Research at Asian Health Services, Thu Quach, PhD, MPH. We had our first session of the Break the Silence lecture series on January 20th, 2016 with guest speaker, Thu Quach, PhD, MPH , the Director of Community Health and Research at Asian Health Services. This year is especially exciting as AAPIHRG have partnered with Asian Health Services, Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies, and APASD to sponsor the 8th annual speaker series on contemporary health issues in the AAPI community.
