Students researched the below topics throughout the semester, all conducting literature reviews while some even used community members’ data sets. At the end of the semester, the students not only wrote research papers on these topics but also presented their research to their fellow researchers and mentors. The presentations were evaluated in preparation for these student researchers to give class presentations as student facilitators during the following spring semester.
