AAPIHRG recently tabled at Calapalooza and it was a great success! We had a lot of sign ups and students coming to learn about our group. Much thanks to all of the people who came out to help table. We hope to see you soon at the first AAPIHRG session September 18th. More info to come!
Today the students prepared a research proposal for Dr. Candice Wong. Each student had their specific proposal critiqued for phrases that needed clarifying and specification. Also, students took this opportunity to ask Dr. Wong about how to develop a methodology for their research questions. From there, they planned a rough timeline for what processes will be ahead. We’re doing great!
The first day for the Fall DeCal will be coming up soon! The researcher/facilitators have been hard at work with their professional mentors over the summer to solidify their research topics and nail down a research question for their project. Soon they will be learning from seasoned researchers in the AA and NHPI health fields on how to run a successful research project!
Look forward to their progress and we’ll check in with you soon!
