POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW
Jordan B. Leitner
Jordan Leitner is a National Science Foundation post-doctoral fellow working with Ozlem Ayduk and Rodolfo Mendoza-Denton. The goal of his research is to understand how stigma relates to population-, neural-, and interpersonal-level processes. Accordingly, he employs a mixed-method approach that integrates "big data," EEG, and dyadic experimental methods. One specific aim of his research is to examine national trends in stigma, and links between stigma and health disparities. A second aim of his research is to elucidate the neural mechanisms that shape intergroup behavior. A third aim of his research is to reveal the interpersonal processes that facilitate positive intergroup relations. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and playing piano.
