Presented by Eleanor Robson, PhD

Professor of Ancient Near Eastern History at University College London and Chair of the Council of the British Institute for the Study of Iraq.

Professor Robson focuses on the social and political context of the production of knowledge in cuneiform culture, and the construction of knowledge about ancient Iraq in Europe, America, and the Middle East since the conception of the discipline of assyriology. She also promotes and advocates the use of open-access online resources aimed at the democratization of knowledge about the ancient Middle East.
